Ulteo Virtual Desktop - Run Linux Apps in your Browser

Ulteo takes an interesting approach to online desktop and office suites. Unlike other online desktops that offer some storage space and a few simple, browser based apps, Ulteo offers access to a virtual Linux-based operating system complete with a desktop and full Linux apps like OpenOffice. In other words, you get a lot more features from Ulteo than you do from Google Docs, Zoho Office, or EyeOS.
features that are included:
Firefox with Flash & Java, full OpenOffice.org office, KPdf to deal with your PDF documents, Kopete: the multi-Instant Messaging software that supports MSN and other protocols, Skype, Thunderbird + Enigmail (so you can encrypt your emails!), Gimp and Digikam to manage your pictures, Inkscape and Scribus to create great graphics and newspapers

Handout your files via Adobe Share to Pownce or Twitter
I can imagine this will be a great year for Adobe Labs....
Share is their service for document sharing and management (Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007 formats, Rich Text Format (RTF), Open Office formats, text, and PDF. HTML Adobe supported image formats: GIF, JPEG, BMP, PNG, Creative Suite file formats, SWF and Captivate formats and ZIP Folder.
Handout is a desktop application, made by Steven Gemmen aka InitApp from San Francisco, that allows you to drag and drop upload your documents to Adobe Share Web Service.
Then you can share the files and post the links immediately to Pownce or perhaps Twitter, which is not a chat ;)
Handout is a cool mashup and it adds a real-time, social networking aspect that currently does not exist in the official Share web application from Adobe.

Business Intelligence - Google Docs & Spreadsheets
Google just launched Docs & Spreadsheets at docs.google.com. It integrates the previously separate Writely and Spreadsheet product silos into a single control panel and admin area. You can...Upload Word documents, OpenOffice, RTF, HTML or text. Download documents to your desktop as Word, PDF and more. View your documents' revision history and roll back to any version. Invite others to share your documents by e-mail address. Edit documents online with whomever you choose. Publish documents online to the world, or to just who you choose. Post your documents to your blog.
Notably absent is the ability to embed spreadsheets directly into writely documents, a feature already offered by Zoho.
