FriendFeed now also using Long Polling Push Technology

Friendfeed implemented the new feature tonight. Users can choose to view most of their FriendFeed pages in real time, including topical based pages.
Robert Scoble says: "This is wild. It’s like the web has been turned into a chat room", and I agree.
Push technology, or server push, describes a style of Internet-based communication where the request for a given transaction originates with the publisher or central server....

Create your own custom Popurls or Alltop News Page with Individurls

Individurls makes it super simple to create your own custom Popurls or Alltop style news aggregation page. The feature set is pretty straightforward. You can add new sites to your page, re-order them and delete them. It has a bookmarklet to make it easy to add a site to your page, and it looks and works great on the iPhone.... it was created by Daelan Wood with lots of help from SimplePie, a very fast and easy-to-use class, written in PHP, that puts the ‘simple’ back into ‘really simple syndication’.

KML is now an accepted open standard for sharing maps information
KML (XML file format .kml for managing the display of three-dimensional geospatial data) is now an international standard, according to Google's announcement yesterday.
The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC), an international standards body, has announced the completion of KML's standardization process. KML has become an OGC Standard, and the OGC will take responsibility for maintaining and extending it. This transfer of ownership is a strong reflection of Google's commitment to open standards.
Keyhole Markup Language in short KML was already in use for map overlays by Microsoft Live and Yahoo! Maps.
