Last night the Google Data API blog announced that oAuth is now available for all Google Data APIs, everything from Gmail contacts to Google Calendar to Docs to YouTube. This means that 3rd party app developers now have one easy, standardized and secure way to authenticate that their users really own the Google accounts they say they do

All you need is a PC running Google Media Server and a UPnP-enabled device (e.g. a PlayStation 3). At the touch of a button, you can then: Access videos, music, and photos stored on your PC, View Picasa Web Albums, Play your favorite YouTube videos...
Why Windows?
...the only way to connect the XBox 360 to a UPnP server, was to have a service that is only found on Microsoft services ... and for the server itself to be claimed to be made by Microsoft. Legal would not allow us to pretend to be Microsoft (although there are other servers out there that do).

Mobaganda.com is a nifty new site from Jason Stirman, creator of the novel site, ohdontforget.com.
Mobagana is an online event planner, built on the Google App Engine, generates a Webpage that you can subscribe and e-mail out to all of your friends, without a lot of extra bells and whistles ... There's no signing up, no logging in. The site is described as Evite, without all the bloat, clutter and unnecessary crap. It does what you need it to do plain and simple ... track who's coming and who's not.
