The more ads displayed, the more money you make with AIM Money

AOL is now offering developers who create applications using the Open AIM API the opportunity to make money

AIM Money is a new revenue-share platform that allows you to make money from ad views generated in your Open AIM application...There are no fees to participate, and monthly payments are issued only via PayPal.

For example, the TinyBuddy IM mashup applies AOL’s OpenAuth API along with WebAIM in an IM client that works on the iPhone and iTouch, as well as in standard browsers

Mobaganda - Invite Event Planning Service built on Google App Engine

Mobaganda.com is a nifty new site from Jason Stirman, creator of the novel site, ohdontforget.com.

Mobagana is an online event planner, built on the Google App Engine, generates a Webpage that you can subscribe and e-mail out to all of your friends, without a lot of extra bells and whistles ... There's no signing up, no logging in. The site is described as Evite, without all the bloat, clutter and unnecessary crap. It does what you need it to do plain and simple ... track who's coming and who's not.

Jesus, Touch the screen with PrimeSense soon

Imagine the Wii with 3D vision. The console would understand if you were behind an object and images would move accordingly and you could reach out with your hand to “touch” items on the screen. The technology is real and it works and PrimeSense, a small Israeli company, is trying to release it into the wild.

Mashup your own StreetView via Google API

According to James McGill
Street View in the API gives developers the power and control they need to embed this functionality in their own websites in whatever way they wish. The API allows you to embed one or multiple panoramas in any location on a site and move, remove, hide and unhide them as necessary.

» View Inline Demo

one feature is the ability to control the embedded viewer using Javascript functions on the GStreetviewPanorama object. The panTo function changes the current point of view by performing a smooth animation between the current and target view.

You control the way the dancer turns

Start Stop the Dancer
Looking for the Most Amazing Sites of 2007 from allmyfaves.com we found Mary, a little nice dancer turning around around...for me clockwise :)

If you see her turning clockwise (right) then your left side of the brain is doing most of the work, which means you are more of a logic/analyzing person.

If you see the dancer turning counter-clockwise (left) then your right side of the brain is in charge, this means you are the artistic/intuition person.

The Chumby...bizarre little device... could change your future?

The Chumby ... could change your future?

The creators of this bizarre little device have generated a huge buzz over the past few months - and it's not even due to be launched until early in the year. The Chumby is a wireless internet device about the size of a rugby ball. It has no keyboard or mouse but instead uses software called widgets to display pretty much anything you want it to - all the time. For instance, it will act as an alarm clock, play your music, show you constantly updated news or track an eBay auction.

Chumby is hackable.
