MySpace Developer Platform launches today
The MySpace Developer Platform launches today. It’s certainly big news when the world’s largest social network launches their platform and is going great lengths to highlight the ways it's different from the Facebook Platform. That's ironic given that the dominant reaction to the Facebook Platform, from users at least if not the press, is that it's made the site too much like MySpace...
Here are some of the key news points to keep in mind

How to try using DRM Music into social networking world - Mixaloo
As Mark Hendrickson says it:
The DRM protection is definitely this service’s biggest downside and could cripple Mixaloo’s potential until the major labels embrace DRM-free music....
Mixaloo is a service that rewards music fans for creating digital mix tapes which will be shared and embedded in blogs and social networking sites such as MySpace and Facebook.
Users earn half the profits from every mix sold while sharing their favorite music across the Web.
imo, thats the main intention and kind of social business. try it out, http://mixaloo.com

FriendFeed or why service helps friends share their online discoveries
Four software designers who were instrumental in the creation of Google’s popular e-mail and mapping services have founded a new company with the intent of making it easy for people to find out what Web material their friends are enjoying.
The company, FriendFeed, is the brainchild of Bret Taylor and Jim Norris, two of the programmers who built Google Maps.
FriendFeed users can see what their friends are reading, listening to or viewing on the Web as a continuous stream of notifications. This stream can appear on a personal Web page or in a module on the user’s customized page on Facebook or Google....
It is similiar to twitter and other notifications web services...
